4th Winter School on Computational Geometry

The 4th Winter School on Computational Geometry (WSCG) will be held on February 29-march5, 2012 in Amirkabir University of Technology, Tehran, Iran. WSCG is an annual event that aims to bring together researchers in computational geometry and related fields as well as interested students, from all over the world. The school covers advanced topics in computational geometry and related fields presented by the invited speakers as well as the primary concepts of these fields presented in a 2 days seminar held before this event. WSCG provides a friendly atmosphere to work on computational geometry problems, present and discuss the results, and establish scientific collaborations.

About Us

The first winter school on computational geometry was held on February 18-22,2009, in Amirkabir University of Technology at Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science.

The goals of this School are :

To provide an opportunity for young researchers from developing countries to make a new research area and fruitful concepts.
To introduce its audience to become familiar with computational geometry techniques and algorithms to some extent.
